Who is Michael Panek? I’m a 9 time world champion long distance runner… in my mind. 

But in physical reality I’m a mixing engineer based in San Diego, CA. Having been a recording artist with my band Transviolet for the last decade I know how important it is to get the final mix of a song sounding exactly the way you envisioned it.

That’s the main reason I became a mixing engineer was because I was tired of being let down by other engineers mixes and feeling unheard due to limits on mix revisions.

My biggest priority is that you love the end result. Mix 1 is our starting point and from there we massage it into place together. That’s why I allow as many revisions as it takes to reach the final mix.
